Fossil wearing Floral for Fall

I’ve been really into internet radio stations lately. More along the lines of indie rock that has nice mellow flow to it. Kno’ what I mean? A feel good kind of music. The other day, I tweeted out that I was listening to indie rock on Grooveshark.

The other stations I really love to listen to (which are more house music) or kinda loud are audioboxlive, protonradio.

But you know what? This coffee shop indie reminds me of the music they play (or should play) in the Fossil store. Kinda relaxing, but kinda indie and fun. Calls to everyone whether their age be young or old. Don’t you think it suits the Fossil theme?

Music brings back so many memories. I’m sure you all can relate. For instance, I really enjoy music from Louie Armstrong, Fats Domino, , Ella Fitzgerald and all those oldies. It brings me back to when I discovered them as a preteen. I had a periwinkle colored bedroom and drawings of Louie on my wall that I did when I was in Art School.

Jumping all over the place here with my blog post, but since I was talking about Fossil two paragraphs ago, I may as well keep going. My boss recently bought a Fossil purse but not from the flag store itself. She got it from The Bay so you probably won’t be able to get one of these again.sharis fossil 3

She also bought the same wallet I have, but hers is in brown. It’s crazy soft. Softest leather you’ll feel. Touch it through the screen, that’s how smooth and buttery it is. Trust me. K maybe the leather’s more smoother.sharis fossil 2

Fossil shared their fresh floral prints on their blog the other day. Fossil Floral Fall. That’s what I’m calling it. Blue dress is A-1 in my books. The boots to go with it? I need those. I thought they stopped selling footwear? Anyone know for certain? Either way I have a pair of new booties I got from Target the other week. Similar style, which I’m digging.

The girl in the green dress reminds me of a brunette Julia Styles. Agree? Circle Yes/No for your answer please. Why did she pop into my head? Probably because I”m on the 5th season of Dexter (NO SPOILERS!) and she’s one of the main characters during that season.

Sharing the Fossil love

So much Fossil love has happened since I last blogged about them. Though it may sound sponsored as it always may seem with Fossil. It’s not. Just truly love the company and their products.

Remember when the CEO, and my Boss picked up some Fossil goodies in March? Then I finally showed you what was available for the Fossil summer launches!

Well friends, apparently Fossil thought it was my turn to have a little something special from them too. My friend Lori e-mailed me a birthday parcel with some Fossil treats!

Please wish my new Fossil Explorer Flap Clutch in bright blue a happy one week birthday as of today. I filled it up with my cards and my dollah billz the moment I ripped open the FedEx packaging. No holding me back. Use it or lose it baby.fossil-clutch4

My nails have already made a few minor scratch marks on the supple leather. It was a little distressing, but the soft leather will eventually be distressed on its own. Hence that’s the look it’ll age with. Soft, touchable leather.  fossil-clutch

The explorer collection is by far my favorite by Fossil since it has so many compartments. It has a huge pocket at the top of the clutch which is wide and deep enough for your phone amongst other things.

I use the second zip for coins.

I was way overdue for a new wallet since my blue coin purse turned wallet was getting a little ratty. I had my eye on the Fossil (which I blogged about, no surprise there). And boom, that was sent to me as well. Fossil Canada Headquarters, you are way too kind to me. I appreciate it more than you know, Lori. Sending virtual hugs, friend!

My co-worker and I are matching Fossil-licious fanatics!fossiliciousI need to get a photo of my entire co-workers Fossil goods. Because it’s quite unreal at how much all of us love the brand.

While my Mom was in Florida during the first few weeks of April, she e-mailed me the first day of shopping once she came back and said “Look what I got, hehe” and what do ya know. I’ve got my Mom hooked on it too. Moms Fossil watch

Laura’s birthday was a few days before mine and her daughter bought her a lot of jewellery at Fossil! I was pretty impressed.

Oh, and that’s not all. Her daughter also bought her a necklace with charms too. Such fun pieces.Lauras Fossil2

Laura (shown in the photo above) also picked up this explorer crossbody purse for herself. It matches my purse. I’ll have to get a trio photo of our items together again,  just so they can hug, and remember their blue explorer cousins. lauras purse

I am a Fossil influencer. I know it. All these people have bought Fossil items because of my obsession. Or because they just love Fossil, but I like to think it’s because of me, ha!

Even the girl we interviewed a few weeks ago brought in a Fossil purse that I spotted. There’s no denying my hawk eyes. When I spot it I’m all Hey, love your purse girlfran. Instant connection.

Fossil Summer 2013 collection

Well.

I’ve been hesitant on posting anything about spring or summer because of the gloomy weather we’ve been having because Mother Nature was having a hard time deciding which season she wanted to be in these days.

Last Monday was 18º and absolutely gorgeous out. I even drove to my favorite car wash place to have my car hand-washed and vacuumed while I watch, and longed for my spinach salad (still on paleo here folks).

In celebration of that wonderful warm day that I wish we’d have more of (let’s just ignore the snow and rain that happened this weekend, shall we?) I whipped out my springy fresh fun colored clothes which brought a pep into my step, let me tell you that much.

Loved it when I was pumping gas with my (fake) leather jacket on in the morning and the sun was beaming down on my back.

Felt SO warm, and made me SO happy. There you are, sunshine! Thought we broke up! Ha ha!

So in lieu of this beautiful weather — I’ve decided to finally share the Fossil Summer Collection sans blurred out images.

Remember when I visited the Toronto Fossil HQ’s in February?  I showed you a sneak peek of what was to come this summer, but now I can show you! I got heads up a few weeks ago but the weather just wasn’t cooperating and showing you gorgeous colors to lust (or buy!) after didn’t seem right. ;)

Any guesses as to what my favorite product is? Second shelf the furthest on the left. That cobalt blue purse peeking out from behind. It’s a MINI explorer cross body.
