West Edmonton Mall “Galaxyland”

Going on the drop zone ride inside the West Edmonton Mall’s Galaxyland was a blast! We went on it so often, that we ended up posing for most of the photos. What a thrill, I loved the weightless feeling.

The first time I went on this ride, I was in clear view of the people viewing from halfway up the ride where the main floor was. In fact, I was actually being filmed by some old man which I did not appreciate.  But I kept fiddling with my seat belt that goes over my shoulders thinking it wasn’t secure enough for my liking. When we were shot up into the air, I kept (screaming) repeating “I don’t like it, I don’t like ittt!!” The photo snapped of me had some veins popping out of my neck and my mouth all “eeee I don’t like it” like I was scared you-know-what.

After that I wanted to go on it again, to try and not be so scared anymore. Fight those fears! I ended up not holding onto the straps at all, and just letting go. Instead of taking hgh pills, go on a few rides to boost yourself up! Ha!

Yea I’m barefoot. I didn’t want to lose my $3 old navy flop flops.

I didn’t want to buy the photo because they’re stupidly priced. So I got the boyf to snap that one of us, posing. I thought it’d come out a lot clearer, since the reason I wanted him to take that photo was because of my glorious happy excited face. I wasn’t actually screaming for joy, I was just posing with my tongue out and my limbs were flailing. It looked great though, promise!

I feel great!

Believe it or not, this is finally the first day that I haven’t felt a nasty flavor in my mouth when I swallowed. I hope it’s not that Green Monster that I tried on Saturday, but I’m not going to try it again for another little while either.

I went on a hunt for skinny pants for work, during lunch yesterday and I wore them to work today. They look more black than charcoal, even though I also did buy a black pair too. Either way, you’ll see them in the OOTWW posts coming up on Friday!

I knew this was a busy time of year at work when our new fiscal year starts in October, and everything comes to an end / we have our annual general meeting and so much new marketing and graphic design stuff has to be produced like Canada savings bonds, student loan brochures, re-vamp old brochures, mingle with some acquaintances and colleagues over BBQ’s (hey, I’m not complaining about that one). Lots of running around! Literally, because I kind of bailed on my running friends for the longest time, and I realized that if I don’t start running again now, I’ll fall into the trap of not working out for like a whole year again.

It’s just so hectic at work, and I love it! I love being so incredibly busy that I feel that the days just fly by. Then it will soon be time for my weekend getaway! Eee!!

The blue sweater

Remember when I posted my vacation haul and someone commented they wanted to see this blue sweat shirt on me? Well here she be!

Off the shoulder isn’t really my thing, I’d get too self conscious and keep pulling it up. So I wore it the the way it’s pictured in the second photo. This is the outfit of the day I wore on Sunday (I can’t believe I’m going to do two straight weeks of OOTD’s! M-F, weekends, and then another M-F! No shame.

A little less than a month and I’ll be on my next vacation or weekend getaway, and I’ll be flying to a special place that I’ll keep a surprise for now — I mean, I don’t want any creepers creepin’ me at the airport, right? Those who know, know — and those who don’t, will know later… when I return. Ha! So top secret.

I’m in need of some new work pants, seeing as I lost my favorite pair somehow — actually I probably KNOW how. Because when the boyf went downstairs to get our laundry on Sunday, the whole pile of clothes that was in the dryer, was outside of the dryer, unfolded, wrinkled and sitting on a table. For Eff sakes. No wonder I have clothes that go missing. What I was originally saying, is that I needed/wanted new work pants. Preferably on the skinny jeans/pants style with some calf boots. I’m digging the slim lined leg look and I don’ thave any of those except for jeans. Not supposed to wear jeans to work!
