Backseat Bloggging

Blogging is getting a backseat at the moment.

Why? Well first it was because of San Diego, now British Columbia! Maybe even Newfoundland for Thanksgiving! Moses. World traveler.
I’m heading out west again in a few days to accompany my boyfriend who’s competing in his third Ironman race. Sowhile my blog posts have just been recaps of my San Diego trip, it’ll soon be sparse with my updates while I’m on my real (longer than a few days) vacation of the year.

Last year my Boyf and I flew to BC and also to Alberta, from there we went to Jasper, and my most favorite part — headed to Edmonton, and stayed at the hotel inside the West Edmonton Mall! His first year as an Ironman, we did the grand tour of Banff and hiked a few mountains.

This blog may not have been interesting for some to read over the last few days (or weeks). My brain has been elsewhere. Packing up my suitcases, relaxing and vacationing, that I’m at a loss for words – or so it seems. When I come back I have some really exciting giveaways (no giveaways for graduation invitations though) happening from companies I’ve met up with at BlogHer11.

I love this time of year!!

If I’m not blogging, I’m most likely on twitter. Follow a frrannnd :)

Busy bee

I’ve been so busy with work that the summer has just been flying by. I’m on a roll design-wise pumping out new Roller Banner Stands for trade-shows, golf tournaments and getting back into a scheduled routine once the school year comes back in full force. As a Graphic Designer, it’s still so very exciting to me … seeing a piece like that come together, especially since banner stands are standing up around our three offices all at one time. I order the banners from a local spot, instead of ordering online because of costs. But check out the exhibition stands, and pop up displays on the link I provided above. They’re based out of the UK.

I should start taking photos of my work and posting them on my blog. But I’d also rather not let people know where I work, and who I work for. For obvious reasons.  Busy bee! My Boss has been off on vacation and then basically as soon as she returns to work, I’m off for a while! More on that later ;)

I haven’t been CrossFitting all that often. I went on Monday and now today I cannot seem to lift my arms above my head. Too many pullups. Death by pullups was the name of the workout. Intense was not the correct term to use. I keep forgetting to have my computer looked at by my Boyfriend because… well, we’re busy getting ready for another TRIP! I’ll explain all of that probably in tomorrow morning’s blog post. So stay tuned for that.

Sunny San Diego recap [Day 2 part 2]

Later, we were hungry so we ended up walking over to the Gaslight District to an Irish pub called The Field.

The mirrored elevator in our hotel!

Feeling goofy getting off the elevator heading to our room. We decided to dress up and head over to SparkleCorn, an after party. Jess let me borrow her dress, which I was hesitant onwearing at first since I felt like a Bridesmaid.  lol. But I clearly I was okay with it after a while. Like our Prom photo? All dolled up for a night at Sparklecorn!

I seriously dance like this. I’m so awkward. But at least I had fun!

I love this photo of Shannon and I dancing.

We quickly took it to the stage and ended up dancing on there for a while. I couldn’t get enough of the dance floor, clearly! That’s all I have for Day 2! See you tomorrow for another recap :)
