OOTWW

I forgot to take a picture of Tuesday’s OOTD because I literally woke up at 8:24 or something and had to be out the door before quarter to nine. It was a boring outfit, and probably looked like this getup. Where are those giraffe shoes of mine!!?? Jeesh.

I chopped off my shoes (and didn’t really want to take another picture), by accident on the first two days. Funny, I’m wearing the same shoes. The camera doesn’t like those flats I don’t think. HEE HEE.

Funny how one looks so different each day. I mean look at Monday and Wednesday. My eyes…!! Guess Mondays are harsh on this body ;)

My running buddy needs to start her own blog because she has such great style, and would give me better inspiration for outfits, since she helped me pick out a neat little belt to wear over my cardigan. Not even on my pants. Like a “waist belt” but it’s really nice. I’ll show you guys next week, maybe I’ll wear it in my OOTD posts!!

Have a great Friday morning/day/evening! See you all tomorrow!

Sunny Saturday

Yesterday (and today really) was such a gorg day. I decided to be productive early in the morning and take Alfie on a 6km walk around one huge block. We covered a lot of ground, but I thought we walked more than that. Mainly because we went for a “stroll”, and it took an hour and a half.

Then later on I decided to try and conquer another kilometer on my runs and do an out and back 3k..

(Pre-run, nobody gets to see the purple faced post-run)

I did do the 6k, and I didn’t do my 10 and 1’s because at minute 9 I stopped at a light for however many seconds, and minute 18 I decided to take the whole two sets of lights and catch my breath, not moving forward at all. So that killed my time a bunch for sure, and I did the 6k in 37:00 even. A bit disappointed when I found out it was a 10 minute mile 6:20/km, but that’s what happens in the heat. The heat slows you down. Then I remembered to myself that not ever run has to be perfect, not every run has to be for distance. You just go, and relax and feel good on those runs and just make the distance. Seriously thought I was speeding through it though… lol

That called for a lot of relaxation.

He was pooped!

I’m not used to going 12k on foot in the matter of an afternoon, that’s what cars are for right?

So I sat on the deck with my pile of magazines that I haven’t gotten to read since May, and just read all but two! Such a fun night.

My running buddy and our “Running buddy #2” — the second one needs a better nickname, are actually out on a run right now. Conveniently running the trail behind my apartment. I declined as I had just woken up not too long ago and was thinking I should meet them half way because they too were doing an out and back. But I decided to skip on it today, but reminded myself not to feel guilty as I just ran last night.

Do you feel guilty if you “miss” a workout? You shouldn’t! I know I’d just miss the hilarious chats that they’d be talking about on the run, heehe!!

aaaanndd because I feel like it….

Casual outfits for going out, but could also incorporate this to wear to work (minus the skinny jeans, but turn those into pants and you’re set!)

Top: Mexx
Necklace: Forever 21. Seriously gals, you need to get some jewelry here. This place is crazy cheap. I think this necklace was something like four bucks. It’s so pretty too right? I get compliments on it… so I must be doing something right.
Belt: American Eagle circa 2003 or something ridiculous. I always forget I have belts… so they don’t get used much.
Jeans: A recent purchase from H&M. These skinnies cost a mere $25. Not bad not bad, for some nice bum jeans.
Flip flops: Abercrombie, but switched to Aldo flats.
Paired with my yellow Nine West purse purchased from Winners, ages ago…

Didn’t notice that I owned so many things from Mexx. That top was on sale towards the end of last summer for $14.99 – killah deal… or an appropriate price for a cotton tee, don’t you think.

I wore brown flats with this outfit and could have easily pulled off heels. However, I feel as though I need to invest in some new heels. The one’s that I have seem outdated and not really me anymore. Maybe I should snap a photo.

Alright, see? Okay so the patent leather peep (ALDO) is always a nice fav, but I rarely wear these.

I was bored waiting for the Boyf to get ready (who ever said it takes girls longer to get ready? Pshhh, they were ruhhh-ung wrong…)

Next outfit. Going out outfit! Casual enough for work, but dandy enough to wear out for dinner and drinks with friends. You can see where I purchased everything because I wore it on Tuesday’s OOTD post, I did wear this on Tuesday and went out with some friends. Can you spot me? Tee hee.

It’s another beautiful day out today, and I just took Alfie on what seemed like the longest walk in history. Apparently we only walked 5.42km’s (it took about an hour and a half. A stroll shall we day).

What did you do today? Buy anything at local fresh markets, or go on a stroll with your puppy or friends? Let me know! :) Have a great Saturday all.
