J.Crew adore

jcrew

I really need this dress. In that exact color. I may need an augmentation to fill that out like the model does, unfortuch.

I haven’t shopped at J.Crew online before. That, and the fact our Canadian dollar isn’t that great right now. I know you sometimes make purchases at J.Crew, do you get whomped with duty fees? I really really love this dress. I wouldn’t know what size to pick out since I’ve never ever tried anything on at this store before. Fail :(

I showed my boyfriend this dress and he mentioned that I wore something similar to his engineering graduation back in 2005 (okay not really). However, the dress that I wore back then was borrowed from my best friend’s sister, and I actually loved it but for obvious reasons couldn’t keep it lol. A trip to the states in the near future is a must folks, a must.

I’m actually saving up for another year gym membership from blogging. When I get half way I’m going to meet that amount of money that is sitting in my PayPal and “match it” so to speak. I usually end up purchasing a gym membership once a year and only go for 5 months and then QUIT. This time — I WILL NOT!

I wrote it here, so I wouldn’t forget, and hopefully you all will hold me to it! :)

I had a chiropractor appointment today and for the last month or two I’ve diagnosed myself with carpal tunnel syndrome and seriously wanted to snap my wrist off from the weird ache. Finally I remembered to mention this to my chiro and he said a bone was out of alignment inside my wrist and all he did was tug on it a bit and voila, immediate relief. Apparently I know nothing about carpal tunnel and it actually starts tingling/numbing your fingers first. Which I had none of — phewf is all I can say to that. I thanked him, and left.

How was your weekend everyone!???

Dare to wear

hand

White nail polish.

Ok, let me explain. I get lazy with my nail polish and never keep a freshly painted manicured nail, because I seriously suck at painting my own nails and it takes forever to dry since I have no patience and glob it on so thick. Right now my nail polish is all picked off and cracked. Awesome right?

A woman at work came up to me and asked if I was wearing, or (get this guys) … WHITE. OUT. White out!

First of all I’d like to address the fact that I have not seen or used nail polish in about 8 years? Seriously? Does anyone still use the paint brushed white out? Isn’t there like a much easier way — with the “white out tape”. Amiright?

Second of all, does she really think I’d paint my nails with a bottle of liquid paper white out? Um, gross. I’m not in grade school any more. I can actually afford nail polish lol.

Thirdly, I would like to point out that this woman who asked me isn’t close to my Mother’s age, oh no no. She probably has 8-10 years on me. But that’s it. Get with the program woman! I blame it on her having children…boys in fact. No girls.

Of course, I corrected her on her assumption of the white out and said it was a polish. OPI Alpine White in fact, but she doesn’t need to know that. Honestly though, I’m not offended or anything. I’m just curious as to why she thought I would actually get a bottle of white out and paint my nails with it. I wonder what she’d say if I ended up wearing something like black polish. I should try it out.

Ooh. After work, I’m getting another pedicure. Squee! Mainly because as soon as I got my last one I ended up walking on a sandy beach the very next day… and you know what that looks like. Nastiness. Plus, it was a gross pale salmon/pink color and I mean. Hello? It’s summer. Time for some BOLD scorchin’ hot pink BABY!

See you all tomorrow!
