Hello Photoshoot!

Thankfully I haven’t had to go to my dermatologist this year to get any more treatments for eczema. A few weeks ago I talked about how dry my knuckles were and back in December about how my eczema moves each year. I had achingly dry skin in January/February — which lasted what seemed like months but it was a grueling few weeks where I didn’t even want to do the dishes or even pat my hands dry with a towel. It wasn’t bad to the point of them cracking and bleeding (but I knew it would be soon — if I didn’t slather on all my creams on my desk).

It’s now warming up around here and I can see that spring is just around the corner. I have hand cream everywhere, including the console of my car! (An aerie freebie — get yours monthly!)aerie cream

We’ve been above freezing this whole week and I think it’s safe to say that my winter tires need to come off and put on those 17″ shiny tires with rims. After purchasing brand new winter tires in November, I now had to replace my summer tires (what a bummer) , since they’re bald and haven’t been replaced since the car was bought. I ended up posting on the Mazda forum where I joined when looking for my car, to get some opinions on the Falken summer tires I was about to purchase. Most of the reviews seem to think they were decent. Whewf.

Anyway, I called my mechanic earlier this week who is storing my summer’s (which will probably end up in the dump) and I put new tires on my car Thursday afternoon. Ughhhh. Expensive. But that means I get to shine it up, wax it for the first time (Well. Paying someone to do that for me!), and taking some photos of it. I already have a couple of places around the tri-city area that I want to go. Beaten down old buildings with the sun setting. Oh! I can just see it now.

silly-mazda3Remember when I was looking for cars and I posted this? I still laugh at it every time. :)

m3-snowballI was soo happy when I finally picked mine up (10.10.09 — hey, it’s an easy date to remember, and a memorable one at that!).

mazda3alley2I remember looking at photos of Mazda 3’s when I didn’t have mine at the time. These are a couple of fav’s and totally had me jealous of their setups especially on the TM3 forums (Toronto Mazda 3!). I plan on doing this too though now that I have my own! :)

I just couldn’t imagine.

I used to watch The Hills religiously until I got bored of logging into MTV.com and finding the next episode. Which reminds me, I need to watch Desperate Housewives online tonight before the new one on Sunday. Some shows, I make exceptions for.

I never knew if it was scripted, or reality. I was always on the fence on that one but more leaning towards scripted. It couldn’t be real. Sure their jobs seemed normal and yes LC was probably going to fashion school. But I’m sure most, if not all, were definitely scripted.

Believe it or not, Heidi and Audrina were my favorite characters on the show. I had no idea that Heidi was getting all the Beverly Hills plastic surgery done on her until I saw some intense before/after photos posted online.

Heidi-Montags-Face-Before-and-After-SurgeryThis is the photo that definitely caught me off guard. All the other one’s posted online just looked like she was growing up, and perhaps I was being naive about it. Plus, got some new boobs, but that’s a different story. She’s living in Hollywood! I’d love some bigger boobies than what I have now too from a fancy Beverly Hills cosmetic surgeon like hers, but I personally would never go under any knife for them. Maybe I’ll get some if I ever get pregnant. Heh.

Can you believe that Heidi; this beautiful person still wants to do more surgeries on her body and face? She’s absolutely not finished. To me, she doesn’t look like she’s in her twenties anymore. Nothing was wrong with her before the surgeries, at all. She was a beautiful woman before – but after – she even told us that she FEELS plastic.

I’m sure a lot of plastic surgeries are very well done, and I mean – if I hadn’t of seen her before pictures I probably would think she’s gorgeous too. She just looks like a different person is all.

It’s strange that she did so many surgeries in her twenties when she didn’t have any sagging skin or wrinkles. Most of the Hollywood actors/actresses wait until they see signs of aging, don’t they? I heard that she had so many procedures done on her little body: beverly hills liposuction on her jaw, nose job, ears pinned back, boobies even MORE bigger, lip injections. INTENSE. At one point she told the camera crew she felt like Michael Jackson.

Do you think you could ever go under the knife and have plastic surgery done on your body? I’m not talking specifically changing everything on your body. But slimming your nose down, or getting a mole removed (which I know is totally minor!!) but still. Would you ever do something like that? What if it were free? Plastic surgery has come a long way, especially in Beverly Hills. It’s so advanced.

Nobody hates the outdoors!

What is wrong with my little puppers!?

He absolutely hates going on walks. I should seriously consider bringing my camera and taking a video for you to show you how much he whines and whimpers and BOUNCES and latches onto my leg begging to be picked up. Of course, we live in a  busy part of the city where there’s a lot of noise and traffic. I think he’s pretty much scared of everything and everyone except for me, the BF and the indoors. He fights to have his collar not put on. He whines when we’re in the elevator and latches onto my shoulder when I carry him.

I mean, I’m bringing him outside enough. During lunch time we walk around the block which honestly takes a good 35 minutes because he’s bouncing and I’m tripping over him. Maybe he hates all the rules? “Heel” “ah ah! No barking!”, “Sit” on every corner. Jeesh!! Maybe if I bring some office furniture for him to sit on and I walk him like he’s in a stroller, he’ll be cool.

I need to document this on film. I swear.
