Discover the magic of Rotary Playgarden in San Jose, an inclusive oasis on Coleman Avenue where kids of all abilities play side by side. From adaptive swings to massive planes landing at SJC, it’s the ultimate Bay Area family outing.
If you live in the Bay Area and haven’t loaded the crew into the van for a trip to Rotary Playgarden, consider this your sign to go. Located right on Coleman Avenue in San Jose, this isn’t just another neighborhood park …you gotta check this one out.
There’s water features, huge concrete slides (and they’re fast!), zip lines and swings. Want to stay longer? No problemo …. I mean there’s a bunch of shaded seating to take a break, bathrooms on site, so if you want – pitch here for the day and have a grand time exploring. They recently renovated it to make it even larger. I feel super safe going here because it’s completely fenced in, and my kids tend to stick together at this palayground which is a huge bonus when it’s 3 on 1!
We love this playground! Check the schedule online before going – as it’s open certain days a week, and for some reason I always pick the wrong day to visit. So keep that in mind! This park is directly in the flight path of San Jose International Airport. Personally I could spend the entire day lining up photos and videos snappin’ away watching these massive planes zoom overhead to land.
