8 weeks into Pomeranian Friday’s already!
I am loving all of the Christmas decorations around the streets here in California. But it definitely doesn’t feel like Christmas with the warm weather down here. I’m listening to as much Christmas music as possible, and our house has been decorated for about two weeks. This is my favourite time of year. I’ll have to head out soon and get Alfie some Christmas presents. I am surprised at how fast he wrecks and tears apart his toys. It’s probably the tiny teeth he has. That’s what I should do next week. What type of toys he likes.
For now, he’s getting his Christmas hair cut. His hair grows quick down here, I have to give him a trim every 5-6 weeks or so. He sits still when he gets his hair cut like a good pup, because he knows he’ll get a treat after he’s done. Ha!!

Alfie is so cute! My nephew has a dog too but he likes to grow out his hair in the Fall months. It’s so long though! I have to tell him that maybe a trim like Alfie’s is needed! LOL! :)
@Cara of Stylish+Geek Blog: Haha let’s talk your pup into it. I love the way Alfie looks with a trim. My husband would rather have Alfie’s hair natural (which is long – like Shi’tzu long) but I think he looks like a spring chicken with a lil’ hair cut :)

yeah it never feels like christmas in california. especially down in LA. it’s never cold enough. alfie is so well behaved. my dog absolutely hates getting cuts and he puts up such a fuss even with treats.

Your dog is seriously so cute! I’d love to swap you with my Irish, cold, frost covered everything Christmas for a nice warm California Christmas. I am seriously freezing and today is especially cold. I have the fire lighting to keep me warm!

awwww his so cute and i can imagine he enjoys wrecking his toys so you can buy more lol. I miss having warm weather for christmas its still a bit strange for me to be freezing on christmas day.

I personally love the warm weather here in our lovely state, but… it would be nice to have a nice snowy white Christmas! I always dreamed of that as a child. It’s been a bit chilly lately for me, and I’m growing tired of this rain lol! Bring on the Elvis Presley Christmas music!!! ^_^

It is not really warm here but still blue sky and sunny. I went to the Christmas market earlier today and yeah I can relate to your feeling, it doesn’t really feel like Christmas with this weather. You’re dog is so adorable, very cute.

I am so amazed how nicely he is sitting for his grooming. WE have a golden retriever and I need to take her to a professional groomer and she loves to be brushed but watch the tails or paws and she jumps away.

Awe, I’ve always wanted a Pomeranian…I think they are incredibly cute. I love that your lil’ dog stays still for a trim. You don’t find too many pooches with the patience to do so..and for a haircut. It almost looks like he is posing for the camera in one of your snapshots.

@Yona Williams: I have to say, I trained him early on. He knows his hair cuts don’t hurt him so he sits while I chat to him saying he’s a good boy (lol) and after his hair cut is done and I say “Okayyyy!” he prances around knowing he’s going to get a good treat after :) Nail trimming is another story :(

Your baby is adorable. I have been wanting a pet and hope I can get one sometime in the near future. I’ll trade your warm weather for our cold weather. Brrrr….
@Terri Ramsey Beavers: It’s all relative really though, weather wise. When I was in Canada, and it was -5C for the longest time it felt warm when it got to zero. Living in California, I feel frigid when it’s +5 degrees, because I’m so used to the warmer weather. Today it’s pretty cold and I COULD wear mittens, but I’m talking myself out of it :)
