OOTD Spiffykerms Style

@spiffykerms My Dad passed 8 years ago and I always love wearing one of his sweaters when it’s cool enough. Sweater: From Daddio Pants: @gap last winter @Sperry Chelsea rain boot#CapCut ? Shotgun – George Ezra

Ah, the favourite time of year for me is back. Took long enough, sheesh. California had been in a heatwave for what seemed like over two weeks and it’s only now starting to cool off enough in the mornings to wear some fall weather clothes. So here’s one of my faves, my Daddios sweater. He passed away 8 years ago, but eevery Fall/Winter I get out his 2 sweaters and wear them at least once. Here’s one of them. Back in the day when my parents went on weekend getaways I always slept with one of my Dad’s sweaters, so I had to have these when he passed.

I’ve been picking out my outfits including undergarments ahead of time. Otherwise, I tend to revert back to plain favorites. Laying back tea and a plain back leggings. This is how I would style these Boots when I take a moment for myself to pick out my outfits for the week…random fact there for ya.

Some people have asked me – How do I find time to write blog posts as a SAHM of 3? Well listen here, I tell you. My ideas come to me walking to pick up my son from school with the two younger brothers in the stroller and I use voice to text to email myself. Ideas or blog post content or just talk to myself and send myself an email with the paragraphs I’ve spoken to text, edit it to make it sound coherent and there you have it. All I have to do is include photos.

OOTD Buddha pants

I miss doing OOTDs and seeing everyone’s OOTDs whether it be on instagram or on their blogs. Who else?

It’s been a while since we’ve gone to the forest for a bit of exploring. It was a super hot day earlier this week, so I put on my Buddha Pants (these were a PR gift). I packed a lunch and plenty of water for the toddler and I and we stayed in the shade to beat the heat.

These pants are so lightweight, comfortable and super nice and flowy. They’re truly the epitome of portability as they fold themselves into their own tiny pocket. I received these back in June and have had tons of opportunities to wear them during the hot California summer. They have different styles to choose from beyond the classic harem style, but they have jogger style, jumpsuits and more.

Take a look! They’re also available on Amazon.

OOTD

I haven’t been feeling well the last week or so. I think it’s due to the weather shift. One minute it’s 12 degrees and misty outside, the next it’s 32 and a scorcher of a day. Anyway, I can’t wait to get rid of this aggressive cough – otherwise I feel grand and dandy – minus the two random days where I actually got sick sick. That’s never fun.

But what’s fun is more OOTDs. Yay. Hope you’re enjoying them like I used to post way back in the day. These pics were from a few weeks ago, but that’s what happens when I’m a tired mama. I don’t get time to post as regularly as I’d like. I’d rather shut everything down (ie: my body lol) when I put bebs down for the night. Anyway too many excuses! Let’s get onto the post:

Alfie will be TEN YEARS OLD in a few days. Can you believe it?

You’re not gonna believe where this sweater is from. I’ll tell you below in the details. I LOVE it. It comes in many colours, but make sure if/when you buy it you have a coupon.

Here Alfie’s in mid-bark because he sees my husband and bebs coming home from a run with the jogging stroller.

The foolish side of me then comes out. Trying to make bebs laugh ;)
