Wednesday, finally a day where I got to sleep in on a week day. Monday and Tuesday I’ve been waking up at 6:30AM or so. Something my body doesn’t really like, and I’m especially not a morning person. Wednesdays used to be my early days, since we usually have staff meetings but that’s been cut down to just bi–weekly meetings. Awesome. This week has been really messed up. Let me detail it out for you lol…
Monday: wake up reeeeeally early and go to Chiropractor across the street from my apartment for 7:30. Get a ride to work with a co–worker who also frequents the chiro. We arrive at work at 8:00. I work until 6:00 to make up some hours that I took off in late October.
Tuesday: Wake up somewhat later than previous day. Same co-worker (such a sweet older man) picks me up from my apartment so I don’t have to take a two hour bus ride to our Professional Development Day at another location other than work.
Wednesday: Back to my normal routine of waking up at 8:00AM and getting into work at a regular time. Successsss.
I’ve been reminiscing and going through old photo albums that I had on my photo page. Somehow, over half of my photos have been removed, and I see that the albums are now ’empty’. I e–mailed Pbase about it, but since I only had trial accounts they decided to delete and purge all of them. Thankfully, BFF may have a backup and might send me some old 2003/2004 photos. That’s the reason why they were stored ONLINE — so I wouldn’t lose them, and look what happens. This is the second time that Pbase has done this to me in a matter of a few months. Unnecessary drama folks!!
When I get enough motivation, I’m definitely going to go through all 400 million of my albums and save them onto a CD and maybe buy a Flickr account.
Sigh. Memories are gone.
My BF mentioned to me on Monday that there is a small 2.5km, 5km and 10km race on Sunday. I started running the very next evening. BF came with me to keep pace and make sure I didn’t get mugged in the dark. We did the race loop (2.5km per loop) which has me stoked since it’s only in our backyard basically. I already broke my record, second day on the job. That’s motivation for ya — like I said, I like breaking my own records.
However, I’m still unsure about registering for the race. I plan on doing the 5k. I wanted to start off slow. I’ve never been in a race before, and I haven’t been at the gym training and having competitions with myself since May. I’m very self–competitive and I want to do well. If I don’t think I will do well, I won’t enter and be devastated by a crap time. lol
Tuesday: 25:10 (I wanted to die, my lungs were so tired by the end of it. Then I cooked us a feast. heehe)
Wednesday: 23:48 (Lungs felt a bit better. Also wanted to die again. Busy time to run 6:30P)
Goal for Thursday: 22:55
I’m estimating it was 4.3 km because I didn’t do the loop that goes around the football stadium and back on the road again which would make it an actual 5k run. I may chicken out. I still have 3 days left to train my butt off.
OOOoooooh! My Dad’s birthday is in a couple of days – guess he’ll be recieving his birthday card a little late. Whoooops. Time flies. HAPPY ALMOST BIRTHDAY DAD IF YOU READ THIS!! <3 hehe, I taught him how to do the “<3” heart in googletalk the other day. One more step for him into becomming internet savvy. Bazzammmm!
I bet anyone (boring) who reads my site a hundred bucks that I had a much more interesting week than them. Let’s see, Monday was pretty complicated. I decided to go ahead and confront a higher authority at work about my current position. That, or consider other options. I’m being vague for a very good reason here folks. Alright, so…next day….Tuesday, I worked out pretty hard for the first time pretty much, since November. I couldn’t run my two mile warm up! Brutal, my arm pits were hurting the next day. Wednesday I went to a Yoga class for the first time – we were doing some difficult positions that actually made me break a little sweat. Then at the end, we had some time to relax/meditate, which I call “Pre-school Nap time”, since a couple of people dozed off and started snoring. I gotta tell you, I wasn’t that relaxed there….since it was in the basement of a church haha. Thursday, a co-worker was driving me to a DR’s appt and we got into a car accident. Everyone is fine. I feel terribly guilty about it all, since SHE was doing ME a favor. I just hope she can get her car fixed. Uhg.. okay on Friday / today at work I was feeling a little ill. I went to the washroom a few times feeling like I had to hurl in the can. When finally I was sitting at my cubicle with one sneaker off, I had to jet out of my chair run to the bathroom while pulling my hair back into a ponytail, and barf about a weeks worth of food up in on of the toilets in the stalls. I won’t be too graphic with that one… but let me tell you, it wasn’t pretty. Though, what vomit is pretty? Ok ok I’ll stop. Yah, that’s the extent of me updating for the week. Later all! RANDOM.
