A discovery of Lemon Pepper

Hot dang, lemon pepper seasoning is delicious and tastes like chicken.

While I was in Newfoundland, I watched my brother make a stir fry for his wife. My Sister In Law kindly shared a bit of her meal with me and I said I couldn’t have anymore as I’d devour the whole thing on her. My brother ended up writing down the ingredients for me for this fancy and EASY meal so I could re-create it.

I did just that, and of course I didn’t have patience to take any nice photos of it since I was ready to dig into it as fast as it was served. But here is what it looks like, and the recipe will be posted below.

SCRUMPTIOUS.

Sauce:

  • Olive oil (I used canola)
  • Soy Sauce
  • ½ capful of vinegar
  • pinch of salt
  • Garlic (I use the stuff in the tube)
  • ½ tsp lemon pepper
Ingredients:
  • 2 packages of Mr. Noodles (do not use the powdery stuff that comes with it)
  • ½ can of mushrooms
  • Cauliflower
  • Green and Yellow bell peppers
  • Carrots
  • Chicken

Think you’ll be re-creating this at home? I wish the photo of the food looked more appealing.

Boots

I promise I’ll write about the wedding I attended on Saturday, but first I want to show you something:

Not just boots — boots with heels!

Unfathomable. Me in heels let alone boots? While I was at Winners on Friday during my lunch break, I had in my head that I needed some boots to go with skinny jeans and pants. I didn’t know if I wanted rounded toes, heels or flats, long boots or short ones. Then I came across two completely different looking boots and spent the whole hour of my lunch break trying to decide which ones to purchase. I loved them both and ended up purchasing both pairs. Heels definitely add a completely different look to your outfit. I never used to be a huge fan of heels as I’m already 5 foot 6, and I don’t want to be super tall. I definitely dislike being taller than my boyfriend but these heels put me a tad bit shorter than him still, thankfully for the both of us (both are 4″ heels).

Even my co-workers have told me that they’re proud of me! HA HA. I am so stoked and I’ve been rocking both sets of heels all week long.

Aren’t they great? Which ones are your favorite?

CitySlips winner announced

I enjoyed reading (and laughing) at everyone’s comments from the CitySlips giveaway from Three’s Company. But now it’s time for it to come to an end, as 3pm EST is now here and it’s time for me to draw a winner!

But first I wanted to mention to everyone that the CitySlips aren’t for every day wear, unless you want to not have them for a very long time. They’re more for events (like weddings or going out in some fancy heels) when your feet are absolutely killing you, and you’re going to just slip on a pair of fold up flats. I carried them at the wedding I attended on Saturday night and everyone thought the black bag I was carrying was actually a clutch, since I had my camera in there with my fold-up flats! I ended up dancing in the flats all night long for 3 or 4 hours, and then walking back to the hotel, so they are durable, but I personally would only save them for special occasions like that.

So I know you’re all waiting to see who won. The lucky person that one a pair of CitySlips issss….
