What may or may not have been blogged about

The title of this blog post confuses me. Should it be: What may or may not has been blogged about? Or have. Brain fart. Today’s my Friday, I’m allowed to be like this.

I know. Wow. Three posts in one day. I’m definitely making up for it this week hey? Perhaps it’s all the sugar I consumed earlier today.

  • I’m flying home to Newfoundland in May. Nope, you didn’t miss this post. I didn’t blog about it yet since I just bought my plane tickets last night. Maybe I’ll write a post about it soon though. I’m excited to see these two fellas. The little guy in the middle, Kelan — he always asks me when I’m coming home next, to see him. Breaks my heart to tell him I can’t come home that often. But I’m SO THRILLED to cuddle them again soon! Smooch the cheeks right off him. They secretly love it.
  • I had a much needed girls night out with two of my wonderful co-workers, Julie and L. That did get blogged about here. I basically needed a medical cart the next morning at work though. Oh boy. Never again.
  • I said on YouTube that I didn’t want to make videos anymore. But I think I’ve come to the conclusion that I just don’t want to do any un-boxing videos from the beauty subscription boxes I purchase. I’m always so disappointed in them. I think the new-ness has worn off and I’m not excited about it anymore. I unsubscribed from Loose Button already. We’ll see which one gets the pitch next month.
  • I tried a dry shampoo spray this week for the first time, since I’m 99% all out of the powder stuff I was previously using. I’m not sure I like it better. It’s less messy, but I find it doesn’t soak up the oil as well. Sounds nasty, but it’s true.

K, I’m all out of topics toe tell you about. Now you, you have a Happy Easter.

Knowing me, maybe I’ll see you again in five minutes. I’m in a real blogging mood tonight.

No GPS? No problem!

Alright, so I’m only new to braving the streets highways of Ontario. It probably all started when I had to drive solo (and got lost) in Mississauga last May. Ever since I got lost I was so annoyed, and peeved off that I doubted myself and swerved back into the wrong lane. I didn’t even want to drive anywhere for a long time, so I didn’t. My boyfriend did.

That was until I got the chance to drive a GM vehicle back in February. I kinda had to take it back to my city from Toronto. Now that I’ve situated myself and my whereabouts on the map. I think I”m pretty good. I’m not a North, East, West, South person. I’m more of a “take a right when you see that Esso gas station with the hilarious lawn sign out front”. Which probably isn’t the best.

This weekend I’ll be driving somewhere by myself, to a place I’ve never been before. I’m going to have to rely on my own senses and ten pages of google maps printed out to help me out. Yeah, still no GPS. I think I’d rather rely on instincts than wrong turns thanks to an outdated GPS. Plus, OnStar led me astray when I had taken the vehicle. But that was just a minor issue.

So! Maybe I’ll document my weekend. I won’t be updating it much but I think I’ll pop out a few scheduled posts anyway. Don’t fret if your comment doesn’t get “approved” automatically. Sometimes it gets stuck in the spam folder and I’m not sure why.

See you soon!

OOTWW

Since today is my Friday and I won’t be near a computer tomorrow, I thought I’d post my outfit of the work week!

I’ve been addicted to Draw Something on my iPad for the past few days. Check out some of my wicked drawings ;)  (my name is spiffykerms on there, find me!)

I’m not a fan of when Draw Something makes you draw band names. I’ve seen Weezer, Kanye, and Outkast. How the heck are you supposed to draw those? Also, when the easy, medium and hard are all hard. That’s when I fail and just draw out the name itself. Sarry. Some of them are super fun and I spend a good half hour at it. But then the person guesses it like 15 seconds into my drawing. Lame.
