Visual Wishlist V2.

I need to stop visiting J. Crew and creating wishlists.

Well. Obviously I didn’t learn anything, so I’m creating a new one. They need to start having more sales.

Blue leather shoe? Or, Slate suede shoe?

Don’t worry. I can’t afford these right now. But I’m oogling them over at J Crew and I want to eventually get them, when they go on steep discount. Which color would you choose? Both are unique (the bottom one isn’t black, it’s like a slate color), and I LOVE both. I also don’t know what size to get because I’m an exact 8.5 shoe. Of course, they don’t come in half sizes either. Lucky me.

The suede one’s are on back order until December 16. That’s a really long time. Plus, I’m an exact 8½ shoe and J Crew’s website was telling me to downsize if I’m a half size. Well, that’s just great — all of the 8’s are on on back order. And those swell looking blue ones? Ooh, I want those too. But they’re $10 more than the suede ones. What gives J Crew? Give me some shipping code too while you’re at it, and hurry up and put them on sale.

Causing unnecessary stress

Christmas-Snoopy-Lights-TreeI usually start my Christmas shopping towards the end of July and I’m usually finished by the time October comes around, give or take a few presents.  Yes, I know it sounds crazy but I like being organized in that sense. There’s a lot of  people I need to buy for! Almost all shopping is done online too. This year I’m a wee bit lacking in the funds and I do have a list for my regulars, but nothing has been bought. I still can’t help but feel a bit overwhelmed because I’ve been one to not go in debt during the Christmas season, and now I’ve turned into one of those.

I give it all good reason though. I went on a fabulous vacation in September, I bought a car, and a plane ticket home for Christmas in October. That gives me a tolerable reason for being “broke”.

I’ve got everything planned out though. Everyone’s gift has been chosen and I just need to go out and get it. It doesn’t hurt that the females I need to buy for are totally excited to receive some of my freebies that I got throughout the year using coupons [My Mom in fact is very excited to receive her free razors, shampoo, and shave gel!]. Throughout the year I always keep an e-mail draft in my gmail account and write down ideas for people’s gifts. Especially, when they subconsciously mention things throughout the year that they’d like to have. They think I have a memory like an elephant, but I just whip out my blackberry quickly, e-mail it to myself and then add it to the e-mail draft later on.

I think a trip to Toronto is needed. Very soon.

Outfit of the Day

oct21Outfit of the Day:

ootd-oct21

It’s been about a month since I wrote anything under the fashion category, which is just usually outfits of the day. But I wanted to show people my outfit of the day for October 21. I personally thought that I was looking pretty stylish, until I went back and checked to see when the last time I did an “OOTD” post, and it was  basically the same outfit minus a different pair of pants. Fashion fail.

Clearly this outfit is a favorite of mine.

Earrings: Forever 21
Rings: I have no idea, I’ve had these for years. Most likely bought from Smart Set?
Scarf: $20 at Abercrombie
Cardigan: J. Crew (So in ♥ with this cardy)
White Tee: Long sleeved basic tee from Abercrombie (Winter 2008)
Pants: Jacob from 2006. I bought these in Old Montreal, so long ago and I still get questioned if they’re brand new. They’re dressy jean material, but I never wear them anywhere besides work. So they still have a hardcore crease in them, even after I wash them. Nice.
Shoes: The giraffe patterned ones!

Ugh, it’s been a long week.
