Guest Post: Melissa

Hey ya’ll! I’m Melissa from Sweet Sunday Loving.  I’m a SAHM (very recently) to a seven year old boy and I love the time I get to spend with my sweet family.  Me & my boys live below the mason dixon line and love being from the South. Yes, we love Sweet Tea! :) I hope you will take a minute to stop by my blog and get to know me and my family through our silly moments, vacations and daily life.

Today, I wanted to recommend an awesome web tool for you awesome bloggers - Windows Live Writer!  I hope I’m not the last one to know about this awesome tool, I’m sure I am considering I’m a late bloomer in the blogging world (ha!).  Windows Live Writer is AMAZING!  It has features that make the blogging process so much easier. If you are a Blogger user, you can quit worrying about the hang-ups Blogger sometimes has when it comes to publishing your post, no more missing posts either!  When you are typing your post you will see what it will look like as you type every word, background and all. You no longer have to preview before you post. You can insert links, add tables, edit photos and even add a watermark to your photos without opening Photoshop. I know that I still have a lot of exploring to do.  But, I’m already sold on this tool and I hope you will love it too! :)

Guest post: Janine

Hi everyone! I’m Janine from Salt Water Joy and like Nancy, I’m also a Newfie! ;-) First and foremost, I want to thank Nancy for allowing me to guest post on her blog! Next, since Nancy always posts outfits of the work week, I thought I’d post a work outfit of my own.

.. yeah, I’m a day camp counselor. ;-) I definitely have a more relaxed work uniform than most people and in fact, I can really wear whatever I want. That being said, I do try to dress up a little bit for work by adding sequins and ruffles whenever possible!

Tee: J. Crew
Cardigan: J. Crew
Shorts: American Eagle
Belt: Old Navy
Shoes: Keds
Bracelets: Homemade
Sunburn: C/O Mother Nature

One other important aspect of my work outfit is the ability to adapt to changing weather. Perhaps my least favourite aspect of our province is its unusual weather patterns. Seriously, in one day in may be raining, sunny, snowing, windy, sleeting, and foggy. I’m not exaggerating at all, though at least we haven’t gotten any snow in the summertime! (It has seriously felt close to snowing on some days however). I always pack a change of shoes as well as a sweater and usually a rain coat. Hey, at least I’m prepared, which is definitely the #1 rule of any camper!

I apologize for the lack of professional-looking outfit photos! If you must know, I actually stuck my camera between two separate parts of a tree trunk. Classy, I know. Anyway, if you liked my crazy ramblings and silly outfit posts, I do hope you’ll come visit me at my blog! And thanks again Nancy for this wonderful opportunity!
