The most versatile gift for everyone on your list

I have two holiday gift guides coming up in the next week but I first wanted to start off by sharing this goodie with you.

Bluetooth trackers have been on the go for some time, but they often get skipped over or forgotten as gifts. Not this year! I’m here to remind you how awesome this gift is, and of course it’s useful for those around you who keep losing stuff (looking at my husband right now).

Bring one of these to a white elephant party, have as a stocking stuffer, or give as a Hanukkah or Christmas gift. It’s definitely one that would be put to use by many.

There’s actually multiple uses with the Tile, as it can be used for obviously tracking what you’ve attached it too, but use it in reverse and use the tile to find your phone!

Believe it or not, I’m not that tech savvy (lol honestly). But the Tile App is pretty straight forward and easy to use.

Download the Tile App, and it’ll walk you through the steps to activate your Tile. From there you can easily keep track of your items that you’ve attached that lil’ Tile to. Lost your item already? Not to sorry, press “Find” and your Tile will beep, alerting you of where that long-lost-item went.

Alfie leading the life of privilege

Alfie leading the life of privilege — Lexus (yes that fancy car company) reached out to us and offered the most expensive car I’ve ever driven, for not a week, but 11 flipping DAYS. We had it during out 4th American Thanksgiving holiday, so you bet we took advantage of having the Lexus RC F for a few nice long drives. My job was to drive it, and my husband’s was to scope out all the driving locations and where to go during our time with it. So, we went where we’ve never ventured before…a two hour drive up to beautiful Point Reyes with a stop at the amazingly gorgeous Cypress Tree Tunnel.

Looks like it’s time for another adventure, Alfie! {watch shown: Fossil Neely!}

I’m tellin’ ya, and it’s probably getting old for you to hear on repeat, but there’s nothing that brings this kinda smile to Alfie’s face, other than asking him if he wants to go for a car ride. It’s the best feeling to see him smile so huge.

Although he does have his slow days, he is in partial remission as of last week. He will still receive treatments every 3 weeks, with checkups from his oncologist — but for the most part we’re happily surprised at how well he is responding to this new treatment. It is a bit harder on his system, but it seems to be shrinking all that terrible stuff in his intestines. He’s a miracle boy!!!

This car is insane. So much horsepower, it’s an incredibly powerful vehicle.

I drove this RC F a few years ago when I was invited with Lexus and Heels & Wheels to Palm Springs to drive this, and the GS F on the Chuckwalla Valley Raceway. It was an exceptional vehicle to have the privilege to drive for the few hours a few years back, let alone have it for over a week. So thank you Lexus, for allowing Alfie to lead that privileged life for a week! Back to my ten year old car we go. Ha!!

How our first prenatal class went…

The other day my husband and I drove to our first of many (oh so many) prenatal classes. It was three hours long. This course cost us a pretty penny (Bay Area Life I suppose….) and no wonder they don’t give refunds, because it was dumb. I was hoping it wouldn’t be. But no refunds = we’ll continue to go.

I also maybe embarassed myself a little bit during class since she asked everyone to answer out loud what their favourite thing of being pregnant was.

Me: I love how thick my hair has gotten, omgggggg
Every other gosh darn tootin’ person: Aw, I love feeling baby kicking.

Oops? Guess I probably shouldn’t have answered as one of the first people. But it’s true! I love how thick my hair feels, it doesn’t get greasy, and it’s just fantastic.

The instructor insured us she wasn’t going to get all hippy-dippy on us, but by the end we were all on the floor doing that hee-hee-hee-hoo breathing technique that no one uses during labor. I couldn’t even doing it because my husband and I were laughing too much. Luckily a ton of people in the class were also a bit foolish so we didn’t feel like complete jerks for laughing so hard at….mostly everything.

I made one Black Friday purchase and it was this denim vest from Recks & Relle, a shop I found on the explore page of Instagram. But for this OOTD today on the blog, I added an extra layer – the Shop Pink Blush cardigan which is honestly hands-down the best quality item I’ve received yet from them.

Sure horizontal stripes may make me look wider than what I am. But! I am huge fan of them, and I feel like all I do lately is wear grey, black or white striped tops in this pregnancy, with the exception of a few basic tops.

Debating why I thought it was a good decision to take some of these photos on the floor. Honestly it sounds so ridiculous but it’s quite difficult to get up off the floor – especially in the evenings. Where did my abs go? Why do they only work in the mornings and completely disappear at night? All these questions I have.

Long sleeved tops are my jam right now.

I feel so fancy in my monochrome outfit with my brilliant red velvet shoes that are under $15! What a deal. I even bought a backup pair because I’m crazy like that.

I’m going to see the Nutcracker Ballet soon, and I am totally eying up this Velvet Blazer from Pink Blush, too! I hope it’s on my list of items to choose as an Ambassador next time, eek! :)
