“The” hummus

SO! I bought some hummus over the weekend, and only now had the guts to try it out. I know, it was probably juvenile of me to wait until now to try it out. But I have had a bad experience with hummus when I was 16. The first, and last time (til now) that I ate it I was on a camping trip in Algonquin Park with 9 other girls my age for a wilderness trip for two weeks. It was a fun time, no doubt. But also very hard. No matter how hungry we were, we inhaled the food that we had packed to eat jointly. However, there was one thing I couldn’t stand the texture of, no matter how badly I was starving. We had triscut crackers (which I still despise) and gritty tasteless hummus. Can you believe something so minuscule made such a mark in my little brain all these years? How silly.

Thankfully, PC Blue Menu has come out with something I enjoy, much better.

I wonder how long this tub will last me, at this rate? Hmm. Maybe eating this instead of chocolate treats all the time will reduce body fat. Totally.

I thought hated hummus for so many years because the one and only time I tried it, years ago, it was awful. I always scoffed at others’ love for it. Then I had some the other day, just to see, and wow! It was good! So strange how those things stick with us so long.

LOL I don’t blame you. I don’t like hummus, and can’t eat it either… Not for any reason other than I just don’t like it… but its funny how things stick with us!
