Ever since purchasing my pro flickr account a few weeks ago ($25/yr to hold all the photos you’ve ever taken isn’t bad) I’ve been updating my flickr with really, really old photos. It even goes back as far as 2004. Before Flickr I used to use a free website called pbase but to my surprise, they have actually deleted a lot of my photos from 2002 and 2003. I was unimpressed to say the least and sent quite a few nasty e-mails to the company. Since I wasn’t a paying customer, they couldn’t do anything about it. So, rather than pay  after them loosing all my memories from back in the party days, I decided to pay Flickr instead. This is sort of a pointless entry, but I decided to update a few of you on here as some people who read this are my Flickr contacts as well.

I have a question though regarding everyone’s Flickr plugin/widget (what is it?) on websites. Why does my flickr preview photos look so ugly compared to everyone else’s? I mean, the layout of them. All spaced out super weird, no standard thumbnail view. I may remove it all together! How annoying. Why am I computer illiterate?

Most of my photos aren’t viewable to the public, as Flickr actually gets a lot of creepers. But the ones I had on pbase were indeed, public and so once I’ve moved them all over to Flickr, I decided to still keep them public. You can view my flickr page here!

No Buy Month

I may have a confession…

Technically, I didn’t break the rules. So, this No Buy Month that I’m doing? I smguess you could say I almost broke the rules. But didn’t! Judge for yourself. I went to a movie on Saturday night (that’s us, before the movie hee hee). Used my scene points to get free popcorn/pop. I returned some MAC makeup I bought a few weeks ago (I plan on writing a MAC Makeup review this week), and used my return money to purchase tickets for Boyfriend and I to see Watchmen. Boyfriend loved it. Me? Meh, not so much. It was entertaining and completely packed theatre.

Unknowingly to me, when we went on Friday it was opening night. The line-up went all down the hallway, outside, and wrapped around the building.  So many nerdles (nerds lol) around too. We were the last people in line, an hour before the movie. When we got seats, we decided they sucked and asked if we could exchange our tickets for Saturday. Score. We went two hours before the movie this time, and was 6th in line — and got our sweet spot seats. The movie was three hours long, again like I said: entertaining, but not my favourite kind of movie to watch. Next, I want to see He’s Just Not That Into You. But Boyfriend won’t see it, room mate already saw it. So I asked my Mom to burn it for me and send it up with my ‘care package’ she’s putting together for me, for Easter. Awwww….

Anyway. That’s my confession for the day.

*Stares at an atom, plastered on the hallway walls of the theatre*
Boyfriend: “Do you know what those are called?”
Me: “You mean, those atoms?”
Boyfriend: “Well, do you know what the inside parts mean?”
Me: “Tch, No! I didn’t take anatomy!”
Boyfriend: *Laughs so hard he can’t get a word out. “I hope that was a joke!”
Me: “Well. Sorta. Well what’s the subject for it? Science or whatever it’s called”

I love being an idiot sometime, just to make people laugh. God, that was lame.

Also, does anyone know whats up with WordPress not allowing comments to be moderated? My new read Amanda has tried to comment on 3 different computers on my blog, and normally if it’s a new commenter, it waits until it’s moderated by me. But it doesn’t even register in my email that she’s new, nor do I see her comments. She suggested I make her an account on my blog somehow (how? lol) and then add her as a ‘member’. But I have NO idea how to do that. Has anyone had anything similar happen, and did it resolve? This sucks.

I should have just made this a wordpress question day. How do I have a user-photo for when I’m commenting on blogs? Connie, and Jeanine both have one! Wah! I also want to know how come I can’t put my own things in the sidebar while editing sidebar.php? Do I really need a plugin for adding a “cam image”? This sucks that I’m so incomptent.  Teach me you guysss.
