Soreness, neutering and free wordpress themes

I’m going to have to skip my running class (first time EVER) tonight, so I could rest the stupid pulled groin muscle. It doesn’t feel torn, it just feels crampy and sore. I’ve been stretching it often but I have no idea if that’s what I’m supposed to do, or let it heal on its own. Either way I hope it’ll be better by Thursday so I can at least jog on it a bit and keep up my endurance for my mini 5k run coming up in June! I already signed up. No backing out :)

Alfie is getting so much work done at the vet today. He’ll no longer be a little guy anymore. He’s an IT.

  • Neutering
  • Dew claw removal (one on the back of his hind leg has always looked as if it’s hanging by a thread)
  • Micro chip
  • Teeth removed (Some of his baby teeth have yet to fall out and he has his K9’s already in)

I can’t wait to pick him up at vet after work. I hope he’s not too groggy.

Oh! A few people have asked where I got my wordpress theme here on this blog. No, I haven’t made it myself and I actually ended up getting it from one of those free wordpress themes sites! It’s so easy, just google search it and there’s tons of unique ones to choose from. There’s so many themes that I wanted to use, but I really do like this one and I hate changing it all up because my formatting gets messed up. But whenever you do, go to one of those free sites. Don’t pay for a theme! :)

Run legs, run!

My endurance is pretty good now that I’ve been running twice a week. Enough to make me not want to come off the field at our first (and second) soccer game. Though, whenever I kick the ball, I always contort myself into weird positions.

Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”

See?

After the first game, the middle of my back was so unbelievably sore. But a good kind of sore. Like I’ve worked out with some heavy weights. It doesn’t hurt, but there’s some new muscles being used. Strange, isn’t it?

I ended up calling my dentist the other morning, because I had a pretty big filling done about 6 weeks ago and noticed that it felt like it’s “leaking”. I was very disappointed lol. I freaking hate going to the dentist. I had an appointment last Wednesday to get it checked out.

He requested that his assistant do some x-rays.Of course he had to mumble something along the lines of  “Worst case scenario, we’d have to do a root canal.”

To calm my nerves while he left me to digest the news, I decided to ignore it because his wife (the secretary) was ever so kind to me telling me NOT to worry, and it was probably nothing, and then take pictures

Ok, that didn’t calm me. So…WHY would he even bring that up if it’s not even an issue yet? Why make me want to vom all over the floor when he gives me that news? I said to him (because I’m so stern in DR’s offices lol) “What? Excuse me? Why would you even say I need that done. That’s crazy!” … he repeated himself “Not to worry. That’s the worst case scenario.” Yeah, not like looking at the glass half full or anything. It’s like he wants to give me something I don’t need. (Like stretchmarks creams!?)

He looked at the x-, sprayed some air on my tooth, and then tapped on it with some plastic instrument. The root of my tooth seemed fine, and my tooth wasn’t bothered much by the air blowing in at it. All I had to do was keep using my sensodyne toothpaste and keep an eye on it. OHHHHH thanks! Thanks for giving me worst case scneario buddy, then telling me absolutely nothing is wrong with my tooth!

I walked out of there happy as a pig in…

How was your Monday?

Vegging out

I can see how people would want to sit in front of their computers, veg out and play on an online casino. Because right now — the sun is setting, I have my fresh cut up pineapple and I’m sitting here relaxing on my computer, resting my groin lol, stalking facebook (boring) and typing on twitter. Have you ever played games like that online? What do you think of them? Fun or not?

What are you guys up to tonight?!
