OOTD Buddha pants

I miss doing OOTDs and seeing everyone’s OOTDs whether it be on instagram or on their blogs. Who else?

It’s been a while since we’ve gone to the forest for a bit of exploring. It was a super hot day earlier this week, so I put on my Buddha Pants (these were a PR gift). I packed a lunch and plenty of water for the toddler and I and we stayed in the shade to beat the heat.

These pants are so lightweight, comfortable and super nice and flowy. They’re truly the epitome of portability as they fold themselves into their own tiny pocket. I received these back in June and have had tons of opportunities to wear them during the hot California summer. They have different styles to choose from beyond the classic harem style, but they have jogger style, jumpsuits and more.

Take a look! They’re also available on Amazon.

Kodak Mini 2 Retro printer

This gem of a portable printer is something we’ve been carting around with us in my backpack when we head off to adventures. The Kodak Portable Printer prints the perfect photos for kids to be touchin’ with their hands as the photos are fingerprint-proof, waterproof and a last a lifetime.

Have friends that have joined your adventure and want to print photos for them too? The Kodak app I have installed on my phone allows you to queue up to 5 photos at a time for the printer.

The device is about the size of a phone (though a bit thicker) which makes it completely perfect for a day trip to the woods, or bring with you on a vacation. I carry mine in a reusable cloth bag so it doesn’t get damaged by anything else in my backpack. The last photo printer I had was a good 15 years ago (and actually, I’m pretty sure I still have it kickin’ around somewhere)so I’m glad to get an upgrade with the Kodak!

The Kodak Mini 3 Square Retro 3×3″ Portable Printer is iOS and Android compatible. Do ya like it? Get one on Amazon  (15% off currently!).

Refreshing our living space

It seems as though 2021 has been a year to upgrade our home finally. From our backyard oasis, and now we’re currently working on a living room refresh. With two small children at home, and no playroom except for our living room, it’s a bit cramped in here with kids toys, a playpen, and our tv + tv stand.

I’m not going to show you the whole space completely finished for a few more weeks yet, but for now I’m thinking that we’re going to add some framed artwork on the wall along with moving some furniture around to work better for us.

Ideally I’d love to have a designated space for the boys toys, and a focal point to the room instead of what it feels like now: a mish-mash of random stuff.

I’m torn between two ideas: one being two art prints on either side of the TV, or having framed photos our boys in almost a gallery-wall style up on the wall.

So! If you’re interested in the reveal, come back in a few weeks (mid-September) and I’ll reveal it all to you guys.

Here are some options I’ll be incorporating to the reveal!
