Surprised?

Surprised to see an update from me? Yea. Me too.

Ever since I finished classes, I’ve been taking advantage of the mornings, and sleeping in until 11A! Today however, was much different. I woke up a couple of times, but I didn’t get out of bed until What Not To Wear came on. hee hee

I was just watching the news with my Mom and I nearly DIED when I saw this “Daily Dancer’s” Website. Apparently he even took classes to show him how to do some moves. I just think that this guy is hilarious, nerdy, and cannot dance. Oh you’ve got to check it out for yourselves. You’ll be in fits. Dailydancer.com

I’ve been helping my friend move into her new spacious modern super cool Condo over the past couple of days. She’s pretty much settled in now. Maybe this weekend we’ll go shopping for a huge area rug that she wants to put in her living room. I’ve been keeping myself occupied since school ended. Right now, I’m working on some 50th Wedding Anniversary invitations for my Mom’s cousin’s aunt. (Confused yet?) So those are coming along nicely. I just have to print them on cardstock and I’m set. I’m also backing up stuff from my PC to my laptop. I’ve got all the programs that I need, from a classmate. Sweet. Now I’ve just got to get all my photos on DVD or something, just to have them – before I move.

I bought my one-way ticket about a week ago.  That was kind of weird. There was an ad in the newspaper a while ago with some airline seat sale for $50! But – it wasn’t good enough for me, since it was a Charter flight, could cancel anytime (which is doubtful said the sales guy HA!) and that I’m limited to one bag at a total of 44lbs. Shag that! I’m MOVING to Ontario. 44lbs wouldn’t cut it. So, I went with another airline and I’m good to go. At first I was nervous to leave the province, then a while after… I was super excited, and now I’m feeling nervous again. I just can’t wait to find myself a decent reliable job that I can depend on. Especially if I want to move out of my cousin’s house and get myself an apartment. Ahh!

I’ve found this amazing artist called Sanskara Dub on a website. I’ve tried downloading his music on Limewire, and bittorrent, but there’s no such luck. I doubt that I can buy his CD in the stores around here, since anytime I search for his name on Google, everything comes up in double dutch (German perhaps). Too bad I feel unsafe by buying online.

Oh, almost forgot to post. But my boyfriend sent me this great flash movie in an e-mail. You guys MUST check it out. It’s really creative and funny.

Not sure if he still reads my site or not, but my buddy who lives in Alberta now is celebrating his quarter of a century birthday. Happy Birthday Steve! YYAAY!

Alright, I’m just going to end it here since I’m now done writing a book load entry.

Design show

I haven’t updated a long time because I’ve been really busy with finishing up school. I wrote my last exam ever this afternoon, it was kinda weird. Tomorrow is going to be busy for me as well, it’s our design show. Fun to dress up a bit, but nerve-wrecking to show our portfolio. That will go on, until after supper sometime – then we head out with the class for one more time. We’re going to this pool hall and apparently we’re having free drinks & stuff. Should be alright – I can’t bring my camera because it’s BROKEN for reasons we shall not discuss on here or I’ll get angry again, and I’m darn well sure I’m not bringing my Mom’s camera either. Maybe someone in my class will take a few pics during the evening with everyone fancied up.

I wasn’t expecting a graduation present at all. Until one evening my parents called me upstairs to open it – a freakin LAPTOP. Uh, score!? I’m really thrilled about that, as a matter of fact I am updating from it now.

Dj Dayhota is playing in town on June 3, Yesss.

I think I’m going to buy my one way ticket to Ontario tomorrow. Exciting.

Stay away, I’m sick

I think I like this font a lot better than the Georgia one. This one is so much easier to read, without a serif on it. I’m pretty sure I’ll keep it this way.

I forgot how terrible a flu/cold can be. Yesterday I woke up with a sore throat, and now this morning my nose is stuffy, and I’m coughing a lot. I’ve been told to stay away from my Dad. Can’t get him sick! Our family hasn’t had a cold or cough in probably two years, since my Dad first got sick! Record time. Anyway, Dad and I went out last night to buy me some Vicks throat drops, sommmmeeee good. They’re not doing me very good, since I don’t have a sore throat now, but I’ll save them. Hehee.

I’m working hard to get everything finished for next Friday. Which is why I haven’t updated in a week! I also heard back from another employer, but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to make the interview, since it’s farther than I want to be – north of Toronto I think? I want to be South West.

Supposedly when you have the flu, you should drink plenty of fluids. However we have nothing in our fridge that is good! I just had 3/4 of a glass of Tropicana OJ, and all that’s left is milk and pop. :( Maybe tomorrow we’ll get groceries.

Yesterday, I went to the gym at 9PM, trying to see if sweating out my flu would do any good. I hopped on the treadmill and started to run. There was an empty treadmill to my right, and next to that was another woman running about the same speed as I was [7MPH]. Some white haired 50+ man came & jumped onto that very empty treadmill. I guess it’s because he knew the woman, they were talking and stuff. I got soo distracted, and couldn’t zone out and just run with my music staring at the TV in front of me. I tried running faster, and longer than the man who was next to me. This wouldn’t be a problem, if I had the cardio room to myself, like I had on Saturday, where I ran THREE MILES. But, it just wouldn’t happen. I was running at a speed of 8.0, and I nearly died – I can’t believe it, because I used to run a 7:20 minute mile, and that speed was 8, 8.5, and 9. :( I guess the excitement had me overwhelmed and I couldn’t keep up. So I’m not telling you how far I ran yesterday. I just ran my regular mile, and jumped off. :P he hehe Interesting life I have.

I think I’m going to go back to bed. But first I have to dry my hair. Know what sucks? Waking up, getting a shower – and THEN checking on the school’s forum that we have set up only to find out that my teachers are still in Nova Scotia with the National Skills Competition. Ahhh, so frustrating. Okay, g’marnin.
