Kitchen Sink Stuffed Chicken

supper-inside

INGREDIENTS

2 Chicken Breasts (boneless/skinless)
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Pepper
cup Garlic & Herbs Marinade
½ cup Mozzarella cheese—shredded
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 whole pepper
½ cup Diana Sauce, original flavor
2 tsbp dijon mustard

DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 325ºF
  2. Flatten the chicken breasts to an even thickness, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Coat chicken in marinade and let stand for 30 minutes (or overnight, which I do)
  4. Lay chicken breasts on baking sheet
  5. Mix together the cheese with Italian seasoning.
  6. Slice peppers up into big strips. Place on top of flattened chicken breast
  7. Add cheese and seasoning mixture
  8. Secure chicken around the peppers and mixture with toothpicks
  9. Stir the maple flavor sauce with the mustard and brush half mixture over chicken
  10. Cook for 30 minutes in oven, or until no longer pink
  11. Serve and enjoy!

Feel free to substitute ingredients that you would like better. I bet broccoli or asparagus would taste just as yummy. Try different marinates too!

Prep time: 20 minutes | Serves 2 | Cook time: 30 minutes | READY IN 50 MINUTES!
