BECCA x Chrissy Teigen Lip Icing Glow Gloss Kit

Now Halloween is over I can finally talk about Holiday collections. Christmas collections! These BECCA Cosmetics lip glosses are a limited edition set, collaborated with the glowy (and hilarious) beauty herself, Chrissy Teigen. They’re minis, keep that in mind. Clutch-sized, even. You know, for all those holiday parties coming up. I personally love the pigment payoff, some more sheer than others. But they’re easy to wear, for folks like me who can’t figure out where their lip line ends or create a crisp line for those deep forever lasting lipsticks. It’s something you can’t mess up, these glosses. And I love’em.

Here’s the lowdown.

The formula isn’t sticky. Great!

These glosses are 4 brand new shades.

The cost? $29USD / $35CDN.

They are lightly scented of vanilla. I couldn’t tell, really. But I’m not looking for smelly glosses.

Creme Brulee is a sheer shade, the sheerest of them all. A pinky nude with an iridescent pearl.

Cinnamon Bun is more of a bronzey shade with a golden pearl.

Sugar Plum is a mauve with a golden pearl.

Candy Cane a gorgeous red with a white pearl.

Who will buy a set? You?

DISNEY’S ALADDIN 2019

So remember when I announced I was working with Disney, and then I didn’t talk about their upcoming movies, etc? Well I’m back at it again. I’m here to bring you a teaser trailer and poster for the new ALADDIN movie which releases everywhere on May 24, 2019. Oh this is a classic.

ALADDIN is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future. Directed by Guy Ritchie, who brings his singular flair for fast-paced, visceral action to the fictitious port city of Agrabah, the film is written by John August and Ritchie based on Disney’s ALADDIN.

ALADDIN stars Will Smith as the larger-than-life Genie; Mena Massoud as the charming scoundrel Aladdin; Naomi Scott as Jasmine, the beautiful, self-determined princess; Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, the powerful sorcerer; Navid Negahban as the Sultan concerned with his daughter’s future; Nasim Pedrad as Dalia, Princess Jasmine’s free-spirited best friend and confidante. The film includes new recordings of the original songs written by Menken and lyricists Howard Ashman and Tim Rice and two new songs. The film, which was shot on practical stages in London and on location amidst the stunning desert vistas of Jordan, has a talented creative team helping to bring Agrabah to life.

Watch below — it looks good hey? Can’t wait to start taking bebs to movies when he’s a little older!

Our eerie entryway

Baby’s first Halloween!

Gotta bring the goods inside, since that’s where we’ll be seeing it the most. The exterior is decorated too, but for safety sake, I won’t be showing the outside.

C’mon into our homely abode and take a peek at the eerie entryway that I’ve decorated for our first official Halloween in the house. Just two weeks away and I’m excited to see all the neighbour kids in their costumes come Halloween night. I’ll show you photos of bebs when he’s dressed up in his costume. Hint, it’s a bit of a throw-back to the 90’s. Maybe the 80’s? I don’t know which decade it’s from. But I’m sure someone will fill me in on it.

It’s fairly simple, but I think it all pulled together quite nicely, don’t you? I’m going to head out later this week to get some larger pumpkins for the front porch outside. Eeek, can’t wait!

Shop the look: ghost lights, bats, cylinder vase, orange lights, black waffle weave towel, velvet pumpkin
