I love accessorizing rooms, especially bathrooms. Actually, I think that’s all I know how to accessorize. I have so many different tastes with living rooms, and bedrooms that when I try to put it together, it looks like a huge mess and no place has a home. But bathrooms I like having everything spa like, things in baskets and have the towels make a PUNCH for a statement.

I have some towels (and wash cloths) from Pottery Barn that I really love, but I don’t use the towels since I’m a bath sheet and not a bath towel type of person.

Browsing on the Pottery Barn website again I have the Home Decor BUG. Check out these towels I’m eying, but definitely won’t purchase at full price.

Will someone buy me a house so I can get in and decorate? I’ll decorate, you paint the walls. I’m total crap for picking out paint colors. They look nice on the paint chip sample, and on the walls they look nothing like I had imagined. I need to hire someone.

You  have got to be kidding me. There’s no way this thing is for real, is it!? A freaking Haircut Umbrella! At least it’s cheap. This kid’s expression, or eyes disturb me. Or perhaps it’s the miserably failed photoshop attempt to remove the background. But whatever you do, don’t look in to his eyes. He may ask you to google something crazy like “jobs philadelphia“. I know. It doesn’t make sense.

How adorable would this be, set up at a party? Especially during the first snowfall. I know I shouldn’t even dare talk about more snow as we’re walking into spring here. But I still think it’s a cute thing to have around! I love icecube holders. They never melt in there! My parents use theirs all the time when they entertain, maybe I should get them a NEW one.

Oh, and for those who want to make your own quick easy (so no discount prescription glasses are needed to make this!) supper tonight, I uploaded the recipe to make meatless pita pizzas. Scrumptious.

Now I’ve seen co-workers have mini heater things for their coffees on their desks. But I have not once seen a cooler/warmer that plugs in. That’s something nifty that I probably would never buy, but still like to oggle at. I could totally see this sitting on some desk like in an business insurance office

Isn’t that neat? I’d totally use it if I received it as a gift though! I love cold drinks.

I woke up early this morning so that I could re-create the curls my new hair stylist did for me on Saturday. I have to say I may have gotten carried away with the round brush and the hair straightener (to curl). It’s definitely curly. But it also doesn’t look as sleek as what the guy did it. Of course though. Right? I suppose it all takes time and practice.

If you went to my website last night (and probably again tonight) a lot of errors have probably come up on your page. Not to worry — I have a backup of my website, but we’re still fooling around with the RSS feed to make it work properly. So, I have no idea when it will be fixed. I will let you guys know once its working though.

I have seen a lot of YouTube Makeup Guru’s use this product or sponge in the shape of an egg, called the Beautyblender. Apparently it blends your makeup in just as well as any other makeup brush that you’ll use. I’m pretty interested in seeing if it actually works on myself or not but I still haven’t forked out my money to try one out.

I’m not sure I’d like to keep it in the plastic covering constantly, as I store my makeup brushes in a pencil holder type thing on my shelf in the bathroom. I don’t want this egg thing rolling around all over the place and falling on the floor. Does anyone have any positive or negative thoughts on this product?

Good morning! I finally got up when my alarm clock went off at 6:15 this morning, and ended up making muffins and pancakes! Delicious. Oh and a banana too of course.

Fresh out of the oven. It takes so much work to snap good photos of food. I like the way that this blueberry muffin looks healthy hahah (receipe over here). The pancakes weren’t that bad either!

This dog crate/side table for a huge amount of $663.84? I don’t think so.

Perhaps if it was made out of mahogany wood, then you’re talking. I mean, I get that it’s a cool concept having it as a night stand; which mine would be used for as our pup sleeps in our room right now, and then his crate gets moved out into the living room for the rest of the day. But I’m not sure I’d buy this item for $663.84. I’m sure you could get someone to build a sturdier piece out of wood for much cheaper than that. Heck, I could buy a nice flat screen TV for that cost or even some Ferrari parts. Whatevs. I’m just showing you all what a neat design this is though. Because it’s shaped all neat and stuff. Would you buy this crate/carrier for your pet?

See the last dog photo of the adorable French Bulldog? There’s one of those in our Obedience class where we take Alfie. His name is STEWART!!! (LOLOLOL), and he’s the most stubborn puppy I have ever met. Yes, EVER. If you tell him to do anything he just stares off into space, or looks at the ceiling. It’s funny to watch, but I bet it’s a bit frustrating for the owners who are training him. The best part about the French Bulldogs is their “yack” or whatever noise it is that they make. It almost sounds like you’re barfing/belching… yyeuuuahaaaggckk. Every one laughs in the class when Stewart makes this noise. Apparently its’ just how they speak. He has a regular bark and everything.

I have no shame. I’d buy these pencils just for myself. I am Beautiful. It reminds me of something that Caitlin would have in her home, for Operation Beautiful. They’re only a dollar, but I’m not sure if that’s per pencil or per package. I love crisp and fresh things like that. If I had my own self-healing store whether or not it was online or free standing, I think I could definitely have a franchise affiliate program set up with these pencils. Clearly I really really like them!

After I pay off my car, I need something else to save for. I like that about my personality – I’m an aggressive money saver or pay-off’er. I have decided that I will save for a down payment on a home. The boyf and I have been talking and we think that’s the best option. However, we still don’t know where we’re going to live. Right now we’re in Southern Ontario, and we almost want to pack up and move to Northern Ontario where all of our friends are.  I’m basically up for anything, as right now we have been living here for close to five years and still haven’t made any close friends.

I already have a few things picked out in a home that are sort of must-haves. I desperately want a dishwasher. It would be very nice to have two sinks in the bathroom, and I want a fireplace. Scott’s must-have’s are a two car garage! I swear, we have million dollar taste. None of us really requires that we get Undermount Granite Sinks, thankfully. I bet those are expensive!

It’s almost the weekend and I’m so definitely ready for it. Everything was screwed by Tuesday. We ended up going to see Avatar and getting home close to midnight, which meant poor Alfie was in his cage all day long with a few breaks in between when I popped home for lunch, and right before we left for our movie. Being the awesome owners we are, we stayed up with him a bit longer than we normally would.

Which is why I’m SO excited it’s almost sleep-in day. Wake up at 6:30/7:00 on Saturday for an hour with the pup, and then go back to sleep for a few.

Are you excited about Valentines Day? I’m not a fan, usually and I have no reason to be. But this year I’m going to do something special for the boyfriend. It involves a lot of food, since we both love eating, maybe me more so than him. I’m not going to post anything here until the night is over, so I won’t ruin any surprises. But one or two of the menu items are listed on my recipe page. Ooh la la.

Sporadic update. No? I still have to mail out Jordan’s gift to her, since she won that Magnapod contest. No worries, I e-mailed her mentioning this was an unusually busy week for me and I just haven’t even had time to pack it in a box for her. Forgives?

My eyes get really bad when I’m in malls. So much so I think that people may think I want to cry. I blink a lot and I don’t know if they’re dry, or watery. Does your get like that? I hate it. It’s almost like the fans are blowing on my eyes. I don’t really know….

I know I don’t own my own home yet, but one can still mock up and dream of their potential homes. Scott and I were talking the other night, and there are a few must-haves when we buy a home. Perhaps I need to investigate Lake Murray SC Real Estate? On my list of priorities are a DISHWASHER, because I friggen want to throw a tantrum every time I need to do the dishes. It also must have a fire place, or one of those fake ones that spurts out heat, oh and also — a nice tub in the bathroom. I don’t bathe in the apartment tub we have here because it’s gross and old. I miss baths. Scott wants a two car garage. I think that was basically it. It seems like our home if/when we buy one is going to be a nice one, but nowhere near Lexington SC Real Estate, since we don’t live in the States. I like the layout of the one I have pictured above. But I don’t think it’s my style. It’s what I want to be, but not who I am sort of thing. Do you get what I’m trying to say?

Who is that scared of cutting their fingers off. Really now. Better be careful you guyyyyys. Do you know that I cannot properly cut carrots sticks, for the life of me? None of them come out all nice and perfect, but I know this little gadget (which is exactly what it is. A freaking gadget.) wouldn’t be able to do it. I know that some inexperienced chefs (the boyfriend perhaps?) would probably be able to put this cutter to use. But not I. What do you think about it all? Is it all a gimmick like some crazy acne serum sold on the street? Who makes that?
