100% Pure Cosmetics: Lip colours + Eye Creamsticks

vitamint-100-pureSantana Row is my go-to place when I need to do some window shopping and browsing all the wonderful stores. 100% Pure is always a brand that has caught my eye, I walked in there a couple of times only to swatch a few things on my hand here and there. But it was only when I was invited to a blogger party at the store itself, where I learned a little more about the brand.

100% Pure cosmetics is an all natural, cruelty free, vegan makeup store local to San Jose — but is sold all over. I only know this because I searched a few hashtags on Instagram and found out that Canadians are lovin’ it too. And rightfully so, considering their makeup is on par with a lot of brands I am familar with. As someone who doesn’t stray too far off my regular skincare regime, I’m excited to hear that 100% pure products aim to give your skin its maximum benefits, without irritating any skin type.

Plus. Free shipping. Always. No minimum. Uh, bonus. So, I’m show-casing a couple of my favourite products from them today, introducing you to them in case you too are new to the brand like I was.

100percent-pure-lip-colourThis is their new line of fruit pigmented lip colours. Yep, you read that right. Kind of unbelieveable to think about. But look how moisturizing they look like they’d feel on your lips! Those swatches though.

100pure-eye-creamstickHere’s their creamsticks. Yes it’s a cream product and it’ll glide onto your forearm easily. But it did require a bit of work (especially with naked glimmer) to build up some colour onto the lid. Easy fix for that is apply a primer over top to make them more vibrant on the lid.

100-pure-creamsticks6 shimmery eye creamsticks. Which colour is your favourite? I love naked glimmer, and egg plant. But forest is a beauty colour too.

100-pure-cream-eyeAfter wearing three of the 6 shades of eye creamsticks I am pleasantly surprised to tell you that they do not crease on the eyes! Stay tuned for Tuesday’s blog post where I do a complete makeup look using all the products shown below.

  1. I have to admit I don’t wear any makeup or lip stick, but all my friends do! I like keeping up with new products like these to discuss with them when we get together! I like the dragon fruit color and I like how you put it on your skin to show what each one looked like!

  2. I am obsessed with lipsticks especially if they’re the moisturizing kind because they not only provide a rich color to the lips but also a healthy glow. The swatches of the shimmery eye creamsticks also looked wonderful. I don’t know which one to choose!

  3. I love the colors! I am not a makeup girl, but I love lipsticks. These are fabulous colors and I would love to try them. The eye creamsticks look awesome, too. My daughter would love these colors.

  4. I love those colors! I have really sensitive skin so I have to be careful with what I use. Especially with foundation, since I can easily breakout. This brand looks like it would be a great option so I’ll definitely have to check it out. Thanks so much for sharing your opinion!

  5. I must say, I am not familiar with the 100% Pure Cosmetics brand, I like the concept that stands behind it. Hello there cute lipsticks! Did I just read right – fruit pigmented lip colours? Now, that is something that the lipstick addict inside me would absolutely looove to try. I love those colors! How long do they last?
P.S.: Is that the Sonia Kashuk bronzer that you’ve mentioned on my blog? Now I am curious to see it “in action”.

    1. @Sheena: Honestly, the naked glimmer is my favourite out of them all (I prefer little to no eye makeup, and this adds a touch of goldish tones to the lids, which is nice). Vino lip colour … well, they’re all lipbalmy-feeling on the lips, and go on with subtle colour. So they’re nice to apply because you can cart’em around & apply them without a mirror. You can see a makeup look I did here with it: http://www.spiffykerms.com/2015/08/makeup-of-the-day-100-pure/
