What’s on my Christmas Wish-List?

Christmas-wishlist-headerFor the past number of years I didn’t have a Christmas wish-list. But now that money is tight, I haven’t been shopping as frequently as I usually would. I could say that’s a blessing in disguise, wouldn’t you? Having said that, I have been lusting after a number of things this year and this is what’s really on my Christmas wish list! Christmas-Wishlist-spiffy

  1. Lululemon Wunder Under Roll Down (cotton only!): I have been wearing my green Lululemon Wunder Under cotton roll down’s since I bought them as a birthday gift to myself back in May. I’d love another pair in either Black or Earth.
  2. Elizabeth Grant Moisturizing Stick: I keep this by my bedside and apply that or Dior Crème de Rose at night. I have a nubbin’ left of my Elizabeth Grant, which I received in a beauty subscription box a few years ago. It is so buttery smooth!
  3. Victoria’s Secret bras: I’m in need of some. I bought a few from their Pink line, and also from Target, but they don’t hold up as well as their regular line of bras. The one’s I purchased while at West Edmonton Mall in 2009/2010 still look brand new!
  4. Starbucks gift card: While I do like to explore and find hidden gems of coffee shops, I can’t help but enjoy a peppermint white mocha every now and then.
  5. King sized bed (img source): For the past 9 years, The Guy and I have been sleeping on a double sized bed. It’s time to upgrade! This will happen eventually, probably not until well after Christmas.
  6. Jo Malone perfume: Each time I pop into Nordstrom, I get a sample of Nectarine Blossom & Honey or Peony & Blush Suede. Both are beautiful on the skin and last the entire day. Unheard of!
  7. Nike sneakers: I have had my hot pink nike’s since 2010, and while they’re pretty fantastic, the soles are not the same as they used to be. I have a few other pairs of running shoes, but Nike’s will always be my favourite.

  1. Hey Nancy. That’s a good list, although i would have put the king size bed on the top. But yeah, i understand that those cotton leggings might be perfect. Never heard about the perfume, will have to look for it.

If you are in need of some bras, i can recommed you a couple. I just received some victoria’s secret and aerie underwear, thanks to the help of a friend that was on New York on vacation. I still have the links i sent her, will send to you as well and add some comments.. Since i liked everything, i can recommend them. By the way, you really need to make a post about Victoria’s Secret. I remember you had problems finding stuff in Canada, i wonder how much different is now that you live in the US.

As for a wishlist, i would add a new pair of running shoes, a couple of jeans, a new coffee maker and maybe a new TV.

  2. I have the Starbucks gift card also in my wish list. Apart from that, the one thing that’s almost the same is sneakers. I wished for Adidas and I got them already for half the price. :) So I bought two pairs. I am excited to wear them during workout sessions in the gym. I think I will feel more motivated with the new shoes.

  3. Definitely agree about the bed, that way you can both starfish… just ;) The Starbucks gift card is a fab idea also and as I need a few gifts for not friend friends but still people I appreciate in my life, these might be a fab idea. Thanks for this idea :) Merry Christmas. P.S. Just discovered your blog, and I love it!!! I’ll be checking back for more :)

  4. Jo Malone has a lot of really interesting scents. I own a lot. Some are hit or miss for me (because I do have a bit of a sensitivity to certain fragrances), but it’s a quality product. I also love Nike sneakers…they are fashionable and comfortable for the type of activity I do. On my wishlist, I would like a Kindle HDX with a 8.9 screen.

  5. I second you on the shoes, lipstick and starbucks gift card!! ;) haha. I love them too. I like your list, it has variety and something that caters to all. Great wish list and I hope your loved ones get you something from your list! have a great holiday!!

  6. I would love a new mattress set. We’ve had this one for 14 years and my back has been sore for the past two to three. I’d love a king!

I have a few items on my wishlist this year but I don’t get presents (except from my parents really). I do not necessarily need anything… but I’d love a Fitbit, Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer, on the go portable charger for cell phone or electronic devices, and a few other things I cannot think of right now of course. hehe!

  7. These are great picks. I love the look of that Elizabeth Grant lipstick, the colour in the image is so lovely and neutral. I highly recommend a king-sized bed, although I’d prefer to have my own bed and not share with my other half haha :)

  8. This is a fabulous list. There is nothing that makes a girl feel better than the right bed. I would seriously take that first because I believe in investing in a good bed. We upgraded to king size after we had our first child because she wanted to sleep with us more than the crib. The Jo Malone perfumes, I’ve seen them at stores all the time now you’re going to make me smell them next time I am in the mall. Their bottles are pretty chic.

  9. This is a great christmas list! I really need a new bed set, so I should’ve put that onto my christmas list. My christmas list consisted of some clothing and a vanity mirror! I also should’ve asked for some new workout clothes…maybe next year haha!
