Pom Friday . 4

Didn’t I marry a hunk? 11 months into our marriage and we finally sent off our last few thank-you card’s in the mail.

Today I’m taking you at a look back to Mothers Day in May, when The Guy, Alfie and I took off to San Francisco to take our Thank You card pictures. We set up a tripod, snapped a few hundred photos, and I did the rest. Can I tell you how annoying and difficult it is, to print your own cards on a nice quality paper? Given that I’m a Graphic Designer, I didn’t want anyone else’s designs on our cards but my own. I ordered through one site, uploaded the artwork myself, once I received the cards I noticed that the paper quality was sub par. They got sent back, we got refunded and I ended up printing them at Staples back when we were home in Newfoundland this summer.

So here we are with the fourth installation of Pomeranian Friday’s with Alfie. Let’s call this one: Alfie does San Francisco.Alfie-does-San-Francisco-4

  1. Great photos for taking them with a tripod! I’m sure you probably have your holiday printing set, but if you’re looking for a professional-quality printing site, I absolutely love adoramapix.com. I just ordered a bunch of metallic photo prints (11×14 for $2.50), and they are just… stunning. I’m a huge fan of their photo books too (both the substrate and the book-making process).
