How many of you have taken online courses to finish up your degree whether it be in school or finishing up the Online degree?
I took a couple of courses at an Online college in Toronto since working and I have to say it’s been really great. Mind you, you have to definitely have all the motivation in the world and set aside time where you have to study and do homework. It’s certainly distracting getting started up on your own unless you have the people from the Online college degree school to tell you what time you need to be “in class” (sign in, online) for. If you missed a class, the information was available online for the duration of the course. Distance education is great for families who cannot commute or want to take courses that are not available in your area. It’s affordable too, and easy since you just access it from your home computer.
I have to say that I surprisingly liked it. Usually I like to be there in person, but I can see myself taking more in the future. How about yourselves?

I think this goes along with the issue that I would probably not do well working from home… I like a little more structure to help me with time management. And would probably be one of those people who let everything slide until the week before the class was over. But maybe that’s just me. ;)
I did my entire MBA online. I took courses through Morehead State University here in KY, where my brother goes but attends actual class. Most of their programs are traditional but the MBA is entirely online.
I also took a year’s worth of classes through Limestone College (same scenario, mostly traditional but some online programs) to finish my Bachelor’s degree after I started moving all the time for my husband’s job.
Ooh, what courses did you take?
Nancy says: I took a CSS course, and then last year I took a creative writing course.
