Highly fashionable

end-of-the-dayTell me you love those toasty warm down filled slippers of mine.

Now, this is what I automatically change into as soon as I get home from work in the evenings. I am so eager to change into these sweats after work. I have such a routine now. I get home, and don’t even take off my jacket/shoes. I fill the sink up with hot water and soak some dishes left over from breakfast. Then I wash my hands and change into sweats, prep supper, turn on the computer or TV for some noise, and start making supper. Ahh. I’m so boring!

I noticed my Mom had some crazy booties on her feet when I went home for Christmas last year. I asked her where she bought them because she said they were “down’ (and I love anything down filled. I have a down filled TV sized blanket that I put over me in the evenings, and I have a duvet, and a down filled vest. Guess you could say I’m a bit obsessed with it. I picked up two pairs of these slippers (they came in green, or black). I should have gotten a pair of each, but I got two pairs of green ones. My feet are constantly cold, but as soon as I put these bad boys on — oooo buddy do my feet warm up quickly with these on. I secretly want a few more back ups! How sad!

I know you’re jealous of my fashion sense. My boyfriend makes fun of me because I mean, just look at me lol — whomever made those jogging pants should be shot. I bought them ages ago (literally, like 10 years ago) and I only used to wear them when I was sick. Well, in Ontario the weather is a lot cooler than back home, so I’ve decided to adopt these as my after-work-pants. Look at the crotch on those. They’re a size small by Roots. I don’t think I’m going to have these pulled up to my boobies! They’re suuuuuuper low, and make my ass look super flat and saggy. Which, I don’t really care because these NEVER leave the house lol.

  1. I haven’t been in Canadian Tire in… forever – I wonder if they still have them! (That’s where I got mine, anyway). Oh, and they are SO cheap, like $14 I think. I should buy extras for when I have a giveaway on my site and give my readers those, hahaha!

  2. lol since I’m unemployed I live in sweats. I dug out all my sweats from when I was in university and wear them constantly now. Only thing is.. I leave the house in them. haha

  3. I know exactly what slippers you are talking about! I used to have a pair, my feet got TOO warm. And I am never too warm. Unfortunately I lost mine :( I think I’ll put them back on my Christmas list this year!

  4. You look so cute in the pic. =] I can only wear stuff like that around here when it’s winter and it’s raining. And all that doesn’t make it much cold either.

The slippers must be great! About the pants, how the cut can be so low like that? Where is the waistband in those?! I’m actually curious, post more pics. lol

Anyway, after a day of work all i want is a shower and then some comfy clothes. That usually means a cotton undies, a fleece pj pants (or a boardshort) and a t-shirt one size bigger (at least). Probably looks terrible, but it’s so good.

  5. Honestly Aline? I’m so not posting how high those pants can go. It’s a bit unnerving, as my boyfriend says “so this is what you’ll look like wearing those high waisted pants when you’re 60”. Then I hang my head in shame lol.

You can kinda see where the elastic band is on the waist!

  6. Don’t worry, as I write this comment I too am in sweatpants and a hooded sweatshirt, so I will not be making fun of you. Ironically I’m also in two (clashing) shades of grey, haha.
