Point(s) not taken (har har!)

So.. it’s laundry day this weekend for myself. I did a few loads for BF last weekend but failed to do mine. But I’m putting that stuff off, who wants to do laundry on a beautiful sunny weekend, anyway? I’ll be heading out to do a bit of window shopping later. I’ve got enough Shoppers Optimum points for $150 worth of free ‘stuff’ at Shoppers Drug Mart (Guess it’s like Walgreen’s in the states?). I’ve had this for so long, that I could go in and get my free purchase, and then go back in an hour later and get $55 more stuff for free too. SO MANY POINTSSSSS. I want to get the most out of my money, I want to wait until they have a sale on … everything. I’ve held on, and I’m not letting go, because I don’t know what to get! Lame.

Have a great weekend! Any plans? I’m heading down to Hamilton to watch my boyfriend run a 30K race. Wow! Okay, so guess what? Stay tuned for tomorrow, where I’ve got a massive entry about my MAC cosmetics review, on foundations and brushes! Yay!

  1. I don’t mind doing laundry, it’s the putting away of everything that drives me insane. My boyfriend loves to leave his clothes allll over the floor .. two feet away from the laundry basket.

Good luck to your boyfriend for his race! :) Hamilton is verrrrrry close to where I live. No big plans for us yet. I work Saturday during the day & then I think we’re going to the Spaghetti Factory for dinner, mmm! Other than that, relaxing.

    Have a good weekend!

  2. Thanks for the comment! I love meeting new bloggers!

And yeah, I’m afraid to put my winter clothes in storage because I know the second I do it’ll be 30 degrees again.

It looks like we have a lot in common! I just read your bio, and we have the same birthday :)

  3. Yeah, the weather has been beautiful lately. I hope you have a good weekend and good luck to your boyfriend! :)

I can’t wait for the MAC reviews, I wuvs MAC!

Would you like to be affiliates, btw?

  4. When you arrive at the cashier, they ask to see your “optimum card” and they swipe it. You get points for however much money you spend. Sometimes on items like a chocolate bar, or tampons you can get “20x the points!”. It’s taken me I guess 4 years or more just by shopping there randomly to get $150 stuff of points, that I’ve yet to cash out. All I have to do now, is wait until they have one of their promotions going on where they give you $200 worth of free stuff for your $150 worth of pts on your card.

  5. You have a store similar to Walgreen’s and you get these points for free stuff? I love Walgreen’s! I get a 15-25% discount at WAG, but free is better! How do you get the points?
